Redzo Balic, a former member of the “Akrepi” Commando and Reconnaissance Squad with the Headquarters of the Territorial Defense in Konjic, is suspected of having killed and abused Serb civilians.

According to the charges, Balic and a few other soldiers went to a house in Glavaticevo in June 1992. Five civilians, including one child, were detained in the house.

The prosecution alleges that Balic shot and killed a man in front of the house. He then mentally and physically abused a female detainee inside the house.

The indictment has been filed with the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina for confirmation.
