When the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, BiH, confirmed the indictment against Salkic, the Prosecution of BiH said that this was a less complex case and proposed that it be referred to Tuzla.
Salkic, a former member of the Army of BiH, is charged with inhumane treatment of a civilian, who was detained in the Detention Unit of the prison in Kozlovac, Tuzla, at the beginning of June 1992.
“Honourable Court, I plead not guilty,” Salkic said, appearing before the Court of BiH in December last year.
