Majstorovic’s Trial Postponed

The trial of Luka Majstorovic, who is charged with crimes in the Kula Penal and Correctional Facility in Eastern Sarajevo, has been postponed as the Defence attorney of the indictee had commitments related to another case.

Milorad Krkeljas, Chairman of the Trial Chamber with the District Court in Eastern Sarajevo, said that Defence attorney Borislav Jamina informed the Chamber that he had to go to the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, BiH, in order to attend a custody order hearing, so he requested the Chamber to postpone this hearing.

The Eastern Sarajevo District Prosecution charges Majstorovic, former investigator, with having treated a Bosniak civilians in an inhumane manner and having intentionally caused bodily pain and suffering of that civilian in the Kula Facility.
Besides the Defence attorney, the indictee did not appear at the hearing either.

The trial has been postponed until January 13.
