Indictment against Momir Tomas Confirmed

The Cantonal Court in Sarajevo confirms an indictment against Momir Tomas, charging him with crimes against Bosniak civilians in Breza village, Hadzici municipality.

Tomas, former member of the Republika Srpska Army, VRS, is charged with having come to Breza village in November 1992 and physically abused and treated Bosniak civilians in a family house in an inhumane manner.
 
According to the charges, Tomas physically abused and treated two male persons in an inhumane manner.
 
Tomas is due to enter his plea within the legally-set timeframe.

Former policeman Mladjen Vasiljevic was sentenced to three years in prison for shooting a civilian dead in the Ribnik area in August 1992. The District Court in Banja Luka on Tuesday convicted ex-policeman Mladjen Vasiljevic of committing crimes against the civilian population in the Ribnik area.
