The Chamber of the Supreme Court upheld a Defence’s appeal and exempted Bilbija from the obligation to pay the trial costs, but it confirmed the rest of the verdict.
In July this year the Bihac Cantonal Court pronounced Bilbija guilty of having taken, acting in collaboration with Zoran Sevo and others, two Bosniak civilians out of their houses in Modra village, drove them to Donji Lipik, killed them and dumped their bodies into a pit.
The parties do not have the right to appeal this verdict.
