Testifying at the trial for crimes in Konjic municipality, a State Prosecution witness says that a document issued on April 15, 1993, one day prior to the attack on Trusina village, which was signed by indictee Nihad Bojadzic, could not have been sent from Bradina, where it was made, via “the communications system”.

Additional State Prosecution witness Salko Gusic, former Commander of “Igman” Operational Group of the Army of Bosnia and Herzegovina, ABiH, said that he did not attend the meeting in Bradina at which the document was made, but, at that time it was not possible to send documents from Bradina using “the communication system”.

Prosecutor Emir Neradin said that the document was sent at 2.38 a.m.

Witness Gusic said that he did not see where the document was sent from, but the person, who sent it via “the communication system”, was on Mount Igman at that time.

Testifying at the trial previously, Defence witness Elvedin Ibrahimovic said that Bojadzic was at a meeting in Bradina on April 15, 1993 and that he gave him a document, asking him to send it, at around 2.3 a.m.

Ibrahimovic said that he forwarded the document to a communications officer, who was present at that place.

Bojadzic, former Deputy Commander of “Zulfikar” Squad with the Army of BiH, is on trial, together with Mensur Memic, Dzevad Salcin and Nedzad Hodzic, former members of the “Zulfikar” Squad of ABiH, as well as Senad Hakalovic, a former member of the “Neretvica” Brigade of ABiH, for having committed crimes in Trusina in the afternoon hours on April 16. 1993.

According to the charges, 18 civilians and four members of the Croatian Defence Council, HVO, who had previously surrendered, were killed in the ABiH attack on Trusina.
