The prosecutor, Emir Neradin, asked that the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina keep in place restrictive measures issued to Zeljko Stanarevic that are banning him from leaving his place of residence and contacting witnesses, former comrades, as specified by the indictment, as well as Witness S-1. The prosecution also requested that the defendant’s documents remain exempt from trial.
“State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) has documents that another defendant, who is currently in Serbia, contacted a witness,” said Neradin.
The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina confirmed the indictment on October 2 that charges Stanarevic together with Dragan Dopudja, as members of the 15th Bihac Brigade of the Army of Republika Srpska, with committing murders and expelling Bosniak civilians in the territory of Bihac between June 24 and first half of July, 1992.
According to the prosecution’s information, Dopudja is currently residing in the Serbian territory.
The defence or the defendant himself did not object to the proposal from the prosecution for extension of restrictive measures.
