Two indictees deny guilt

Two defendants denied guilty for crimes committed in the area of Rogatica and Foca, while two others couldn’t have their say, as their lawyers didn’t appear at the trial.

Before the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Aziz Susa and Tarik Sisic, said they are not guilty of war crimes committed in Rogatica and Foca. The two others who are accused, Muhamer Sisic and Emir Drakovac, didn’t have their say as their defence lawyers Muhidin Kapo and Fahrija Karkin didn’t appear at the trial session. 

Kapo informed the court that he couldn’t appear at the trial, while Karkin informed his defendant Drakovac that he will not take part in Wednesday’s session. 

It is expected that Sisic and Drakovac will enter their pleas at the next trial session, scheduled for September 25.

The Prosecution of Bosnia and Herzegovina alleges that Muhamed and Tarik Sisis, Drakovac and Susa, took part in the attack on Serb civilians on the road between the towns of Gorazde and Rogatica on August 27, 1992, when several people were killed, while some were injured. 

Sisic, according to the indictment, was a commander of the Sabotage squad of the Army of Bosnia and Herzegovina, while other defendants are listed as the members of the same squad.

Drakovac is also alleged over the 1992 killings, torture of civilians and prisoners of war in the town of Foca.
