The trial for crimes committed in “Sabirni Centar” detention camp, Bijeljina municipality, has been postponed, because none of the four invited witnesses responded to summons to appear before the District Court in Bijeljina.
The Bijeljina District Prosecution charges Djoko Pajic, Petar Dimitrovic, Djordje Krstic and Ljubomir Misic with crimes committed in Batkovic detention camp. The indictment alleges that the four indictees beat and mistreated prisoners, including civilians, the wounded and prisoners of war, in Batkovic in 1992 and 1993.
The trial is due to continue on October 17.
