“The Prosecution shall prove that Majstorovic committed the crime as described in the indictment,” said Tarik Crnkic, prosecutor with the District Prosecution in Eastern Sarajevo.

He announced that the Prosecution would announce nine witnesses.

The indictment alleges that Majstorovic, former investigator, treated a Bosniak civilian in an inhumane manner and deliberately caused pain and suffering to that civilian in the Kula Penal and Correctional Facility.

During the course of the war Majstorovic was an operational worker with the Crime Service of the Public Safety Station in Novo Sarajevo.

Borisalav Jamina, Defence attorney of indictee Majstorovic, said that the indictee had not committed the crime charged upon him.
