The Chamber will consider the agreement, which was reached on April 18, in the upcoming days.

Dragic was charged along with Predrag and Nenad Bajic, Sinisa Babic and Mladenko Vrtunic, former members of the Republika Srpska Army, VRS, with having participated in the murders, rape and inhumane treatment in Humici, Vojici and Pudin Han villages, Kljuc municipality, in 1992 and 1993.

The trial of the four indictees continued with the examination of a Prosecution witness, who said that, in July 1992 Predrag Bajic entered Ramiz Draganovic’s house, asking for money, and then killed Ibrahim Draganovic.

“As per a suggestion by soldiers from the checkpoint, who were in charge of our security, several of us slept in one house. At around 10.30 p.m. we heard banging on the door. Ramiz’s wife Mina opened the door. I heard Predrag Bajic’s voice. I had known him since childhood. He asked her to give him money. She gave him what she had, adding that she did not have any more money,” the witness said.

As he said, Bajic, who was holding his rifle pointed towards them, escorted him and Ibrahim Drganovic to the yard, where he saw Milan Lukic, Nenad Bajic and Sinisa Babic.

“He asked Ibrahim to give him money again, but when he told him that he did not have any more money and showed him a movement permit, which he had obtained from the municipal authorities, he opened fire towards us. I did not know if I was wounded or not. Ibrahim was shot. He fell over me. I felt his warm blood. I remained lying for an hour, until they left,” the witness said.

He mentioned that he then went to the checkpoint and reported the event to Mico Marjanovic, but he advised him to keep silent and say that he did not know the attackers, “if I want to save my life”.

“The fact that their father had saved my life a month before that was the saddest thing in all that,” the witness said.
Witness Vasva Delic told the Court that her husband Redzo and neighbour Hakija Zukic were killed, when two men entered their house, asking for money.

“They cursed Redzo’s Muslim mother. When they realized that we had no money, he shot him. In the meantime they took Hakija to the backyard. We heard a few gunshots. When we found him later on, he had wounds on his chest. We carried him into the house, but he died ten minutes later. At that time I did not know who the attackers were, but I shall remember their faces forever. The following morning my neighbour Gordana told me that it was Predrag Bajic,” Delic said, pointing at Predrag Bajic in the courtroom.

Milivojko Pjevac, former member of the Republika Srpska Army, who did not have direct information about this event, as well as Subha Dervisevic and Ermin Pervic, were examined at this hearing as well. Pervic said that, while he was in his house, he saw three soldiers, taking Refik Pudic and Fadil Pervic away.

“I am not sure, but I think that Predrag Bajic was one of those soldiers. Fadil returned soon, some 10 or 15 minutes later. We found Refik dead the following morning,” Ermin Pervic said.

The witness said that his father told him, later on, that Predrag, Sinisa and Slobodan entered their house, asked for money and beat him.

“My father told me that two rapes happened as well,” Pervic said.

The trial is due to continue on April 29.
