The indictment alleges that Bilbija, who was accompanied by another person, killed civilians Ismet and Becir Besirevic from Modra village in Bjeline-Donji Lipik village, Sanski Most municipality, on July 10, 1992.
It further alleges that they then dumped their bodies into a pit with the aim of concealing the crime.
Bilbija, former member of the Republika Srpska Army, VRS, was arrested on January 17 this year as per a warrant issued by the Cantonal Prosecution in Bihac.
“In addition to the indictment, the Prosecution filed a custody extension motion with the Court,” said Adnan Tulic, Spokesperson of the Cantonal Prosecution in Bihac.
