Witness Will Be Apprehended
The trial of Nezir Merdzic, who is charged with crimes in Bratunac in 1992, before the District Court in Bijeljina has been postponed due to absence of Prosecution witness Samir Avdic.

The indictment alleges that Merdzic, who was accompanied by about ten other members of the Army of Bosnia and Herzegovina, shot at a vehicle on the road between Bratunac and Konjevic Polje from an ambush set in Glogova village. On that occasion all three Serb civilians, who were in the car, got killed.
The Trial Chamber announced that it would order court police to apprehend witness Avdic. The continuation of the trial was scheduled for February 3, 2014.
