Presentation of evidence related to the allegations that the Republika Srpska Army, whose Commander Mladic was, committed genocide against about 7,000 Bosniaks from Srebrenica after having occupied the enclave on July 11, 1995, is underway at present.
Mladic is also charged with persecuting Bosniaks and Croats throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina, which reached the scale of genocide in seven municipalities, terrorising the local population in Sarajevo by conducting an artillery and sniper campaign and taking United Nations’ “blue helmets” hostage in the period from 1992 to 1995.
The prosecutors are due to continue presenting evidence against Mladic on Monday, July 15.
