According to the charges, in June 1992 Dedic participated in the beating of Serb civilians while collecting illegal weapons.

“On that occasion houses were searched, while local residents were unlawfully taken to the police station, where they were examined,” the indictment alleges.

It further alleges that, after having found a gun in his house, Dedic forced one local resident to walk through the town, while he was saying that he was in charge of killing Muslim children. After that the local Breza residents hit him and spitted at him.

“Two people died, while three had severe bodily injuries, due to having been beaten up during the examination at the police station,” the indictment alleges.
