Bajic, former military policeman with the Sixth Sana Brigade of the Republika Srpska Army, is charged with having participated in the murder of five Bosniak civilians in Kamicak village.

According to the charges, in October 1992 Bajic and Marko Paukovic killed Hasan Razic, Minka Jusic, Munira Hotic, Djemila Behar and Safet Behar, who was 12 at the time, by shooting them from automatic guns.

Bajic is not available to judicial bodies in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Just like Paukovic, who was previously charged with this same crime, he is currently in Serbia.

The Cantonal Prosecution in Bihac said that, in case Bajic failed to appear at the plea hearing, the Prosecution would propose to the Court to refer the case to Serbia.

“We expect that these cases will be completed and crime perpetrators brought to justice, as has been the case so far in our co-operation with the judicial bodies of Serbia,” Cantonal Prosecutor Jasmin Mesic said.
