Under the circumstances, the Trial Chamber has decided to invite witnesses Boro and Stana Glamocak to come to the next hearing. They will be examined again in order to determine how they identify indictee Skrobic as the person who killed their family member.
Boro and Stana Glamocak were examined as Prosecution witnesses on May 9 this year.
The Prosecution of Bosnia and Herzegovina charges Marko Skrobic, who acted together with four other armed members of the Croatian Defence Council, HVO, in Kotor-Varos, with having forced a Serbian family to leave their house in Novo selo on July 31, 1992 and killed Stojko Glamocak in the vicinity of Ravno village.
Skrobic’s Defence stressed that it had obtained evidence from the Catholic Parish in Kotor-Varos, which suggest that five different persons had been christened under the name of Marko Skrobic.
“Two persons are listed in the documents, which the State Court obtained from the Registry. However, we have got data on three other persons, named Marko Skrobic,” said Defence attorney Nikica Grzic.
The Trial Chamber decided to include the data obtained from the Catholic Parish as evidence.
At the trial of Skrobic, the Defence started presenting evidence on June 20 this year. During his testimony the indictee said that there were several different persons who had the same name as him.
