A defense witness said his testimony in the case of Ranko Rakic, Zeljko Rakic and Marko Stankovic changed over time because he remembered details he’d forgotten during the investigation.

The defense teams of Ranko Rakic, Zeljko Rakic and Marko Stankovic objected to a witness statement presented by the cantonal prosecution of Zenica, on the grounds that it represented an amendment to the investigation.

A prosecution witness testifying at the trial of Ranko Rakic, Zeljko Rakic and Marko Stankovic said it was impossible to use infantry weapons at the site where civilians in the village of Kucice were killed.

Damir Marjanovic, a court expert testifying at the trial of three former members of the Bosnian Serb Army, confirmed that skeletal remains exhumed in Kucice belonged to murder victim Zuhra Husanovic. Marjanovic conducted the examination at the Institute for Genetic Engineering, using a reserve DNA sample of the skeletal remains.

Prosecution witness Rasko Husanovic appears before the Cantonal Court in Zenica and identifies indictees Ranko and Zeljko Rakic, as well as Marko Stankovic, also known as Bijeli, as the persons who took away and killed his mother in late summer of 1992.
