The Appellate Chamber of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina passed down a second instance verdict pronouncing Sreten Lazarevic, Dragan Stanojevic and Slobodan Ostojic guilty and acquitting Mile Markovic of the charges for crimes against civilians committed in Zvornik in 1992.
Lazarevic, Stanojevic and Ostojic were pronounced guilty, as reserve policemen with the Public Safety Station, PSS, in Zvornik and guards in the Offence Court and “Novi izvor” buildings in Zvornik, of having treated detained Bosniak civilians in an inhumane manner.
