Testifying in defence of Ratko Mladic, former Bosnian Serb deputy interior minister Dragan Kijac said that in 1996 he gave fake identification cards to Srebrenica massacre suspects so they could flee to Serbia.

Presenting his closing statement, Aleksandar Cvetkovics defense attorney said Cvetkovic didnt participate in the execution of civilians from Srebrenica on the Branjevo Farm in the municipality of Zvornik in July 1995. As such, the defense believes that their client should be acquitted of charges of participating in genocide.

A Defence witness told Ratko Mladics trial in the Hague that in July 1995, Dragomir Pecanac took members of the Bosnian Serb Army to kill Srebrenica Muslims acting without orders.

At todays hearing of the Aleksander Cvetkovic trial, the defense included 44 pieces of material evidence in the case file. Cvetkovic, a former Bosnian Serb fighter, is charged with mass killings that took place during the Srebrenica genocide.

Three former members of the 10th Reconnaissance Squad of the Bosnian Serb Army testified as defence witnesses at the trial of Aleksandar Cvetkovic, charged with participating in genocide in Srebrenica.

A former serviceman convicted of massacring Srebrenica prisoners said that Aleksandar Cvetkovic, who is also on trial for genocide, was in a barn looking at a pig during the mass killings.

First defence witnesses told the trial for genocide in Srebrenica that defendant Aleksandar Cvetkovic was a driver and that he did not participate in sabotage.

At the trial of Aleksandar Cvetkovic, charged with the Srebrenica genocide, a medical expert said that the bodies of murdered Srebrenica people were moved from the grave at Branjevo to eight other locations.

Aleksandar Cvetkovic, who is on trial for genocide, was one of eight soldiers selected to join a firing squad and shoot Bosniaks from Srebrenica, said another fighter who participated in the killing.
