The trial of four indictees, who are charged with crimes committed in the Smoluca area, Lukavac municipality, continues with reading of a statement given by late witness Avdo Hodzic before the Cantonal Court in Tuzla.

A witness for the Tuzla Cantonal Prosecution testified at the trial for crimes in Smoluca, Lukavac municipality, saying he was were beaten up almost every day during his detention in 1992.

During the continuation of the trial for crimes in Lukavac municipality a Tuzla Canton Prosecution witness says that he was tortured during his detention in a garage and log cabin in Smoluca village during 1992.

The Cantonal Court in Tuzla sentences Nedzad Oric to three and Hamed Salihovic and Azem Ahmic to one year in prison each for crimes against the civilian population in Srebrenik.

The continuation of the trial of Hamed Salihovic, Nedzad Oric and Azem Ahmic before the Cantonal Court in Tuzla has been postponed as per a request by one of the Defence attorneys. The presentation of closing statements has been scheduled for September 12.

The Cantonal Court in Tuzla confirms an indictment against Milorad Cvijanovic, known as Micko, Milorad Cvijanovic, Svetomir Ilic and Vaso Ilic, charging them with crimes against prisoners of war in Smoluca village, Lukavac municipality.

Testifying at the trial for crimes in Srebrenik, a court expert in psychiatry says that indictee Nedzad Oric had a reduced capability of judging his behaviour, when the crime was committed in July 1995.

The Supreme Court of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, FBiH revokes the first instanced verdict pronounced by the Cantonal Court in Tuzla, under which Ivan Koler was acquitted of the charges that he committed crimes in Tuzla.
