Defence witness Bosko Gvozden says, testifying before The Hague Tribunal today, that the allegations that Ratko Mladic ordered liquidation of Muslims, who were captured in Srebrenica in the summer of 1995, were “disparate with his personality”.

As the trial for genocide in Srebrenica continues, a State Prosecution witness says that he was sixteen-year old, when he was detained, along with other men, in a hangar in Kravica and that, while he was there, he could see groups of men being taken away in order to be shot.

Following the completion of testimony by Defence witness Zoran Kovacevic before The Hague Tribunal, a one-month summer break at the trial of Ratko Mladic, former Commander of the Republika Srpska Army, has begun.

Defence witness Zoran Kovacevic says, testifying at Ratko Mladic’s trial at the Hague, that, one day after the fall of Srebrenica in July 1995 he did not see abuse of Muslim civilians or separation of men from women and children in Potocari.
