The Track Impunity Always Association (TRIAL) says a recent Bosnian state court decision to provide the injured party in the case of Bosiljko and Ostoja Markovic compensation for damages in the amount of 26,500 Marks is a revolutionary one.

On June 24 the Bosnian state court will hand down a verdict against Bosiljko and Ostoja Markovic, who have been charged with the rape of a 14-year old girl in Kotor-Varos in 1992.

Presenting its closing statement, the Bosnian state prosecution called upon the Bosnian state court to hand down a guilty sentence in the trial of Bosiljko and Ostoja Markovic.

A statement given by a state prosecution witness was read aloud at the trial of Bosiljko and Ostoja Markovic. The defendants have been charged with an incident of wartime rape in Kotor-Varos. In the statement read aloud at the hearing, the witness said the mother of the injured party, known as S-4, told him her daughter was raped in 1992.
