The district court of Doboj has sentenced Miroslav Pijunovic to four and a half years in prison for war crimes against the civilian population in Teslic.
A prosecution witness testifying at the trial of Miroslav Pijunovic told the district court of Doboj that he was beaten by the defendant during his detention in Teslic in 1992.
Testifying in his defence, indictee Miroslav Pijunovic, known as Piko, tells the District Court in Doboj that he did not participate in the beating and murder of civilians in the Teslic area and that he collected money as per an order by his superiors.
