The Bosnian state court confirmed an indictment charging wartime unit commander Miodrag Nikacevic with committing a crime against humanity for his involvement in persecuting Bosniaks in Foca in 1992.

1. December 2010.
Officers from the State Investigation and Protection Agency arrested Miodrag Nikacevic, who was sentenced under a first instance verdict to eight years in prison for crimes committed in Foca, because the second instance verdict is due to be pronounced “shortly”.
19. February 2009.
A first-instance verdict pronounced against Miodrag Nikacevic, finding him guilty of crimes against humanity committed in Foca and sentencing him to eight years' imprisonment.

In its closing arguments the Defence of Miodrag Nikacevic calls on the Trial Chamber to acquit the defendant.
