At the beginning of the retrial of four indictees, who are charged with crimes committed at Koricanske stijene, indictee Dusan Jankovic, who has been on the run since the pronouncement of a first instance verdict in December 2010, appears before the Appellate Chamber of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The retrial of the four ex-members of the police station in Prijedor, charged with murdering more then 150 people on Koricanske stijene in Travnik municipality in August 1992 will start on February 24. At the status conference before the Appellate Chamber of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina it was agreed that the retrial of Zoran Babic, Milorad Skrbic, Dusan Jankovic and Zeljko Stojnic, charged with the crime at Koricanske stijene, begin on Friday, February 24, 2012.


28. October 2011.
The State Prosecution files a motion with the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, asking it to order custody for Zoran Babic, Milorad Skrbic, Dusan Jankovic and Zeljko Stojnic, who were released to liberty under prohibiting measures after the first instance verdict against them was revoked.

Upholding the appeals filed by the Defence teams, the Appellate Chamber of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina revokes the first instance verdict against Zoran Babic, Milorad Skrbic, Dusan Jankovic and Zeljko Stojnic, who were sentenced to a total of 86 years in prison for crimes at Koricanske stijene, and orders a retrial.
