The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina has sentenced Enes Handzic to eight years' imprisonment for crimes against civilians committed in the Bugojno area, after a plea deal was reached.

At a trial for crimes committed in Bugojno, the State Prosecution announces that it will examine Enes Handzic, whom the State Court sentenced to eight years in prison on Wednesday, as its witness. Handzic is due to be examined on June 1.

The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina accepts a guilt admission agreement concluded between the Prosecution of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Enes Handzic and schedules the pronouncement of a sentence for Wednesday, May 25.
According to the plea deal, Handzic may be sentenced to between five and ten years in prison for crimes committed against the Croat population in Bugojno.
