The Prosecution of Bosnia and Herzegovina requests the third instance Chamber to increase the sentence against Djordjislav Askraba for crimes in Kalinovik, while the Defence proposes a verdict of release or reduction of sentence.

23. January 2012.
Testifying at the retrial of Djordjislav Askraba, a State Prosecution witness says that he was present in the “Barutni magacin” detention camp in Kalinovik in the summer of 1992, when some unknown soldiers took Bosniak detainees out, beat them up and took them in an unknown direction.


28. January 2011.
The Prosecution of Bosnia and Herzegovina asks the Appellate Chamber of the State Court to increase the sentence against Ratko Bundalo and Nedhi Zeljaja and sentence Djordjislav Askraba, who was previously acquitted of charges, for crimes committed in Kalinovik.


30. December 2010.
In its sixth year of operation, the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina Chamber for War Crimes sentenced 15 persons to a total of 156 years in prison, and acquitted seven, while the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina claims that they are also investigating one thousand suspects over war crimes offences.
