Two former Croatian Defence Council members were jailed in separate cases for raping women in the Orasje and Odzak areas during the war in 1992. The state court in Sarajevo on Friday sentenced former Croatian Defence Council military policeman Mato Baotic to ten years in prison for raping three women and mistreating a detainee in the Orasje area in 1992.

Dragoje Zmijanjac was sentenced to six years in prison for committing crimes against civilians, convicted of murdering a Bosniak man in Prijedor in 1992. The state court in Sarajevo on Monday found Dragoje Zmijanjac guilty of taking Bosniak civilian Halil Dedic from his house in Prijedor in July 1992 and shooting him dead.

The Bosniak member of the Bosnian Presidency, Bakir Izetbegovic, who is also leader of the Party of Democratic Action, SDA, paid an official visit to Kazani, near Sarajevo, to commemorate the Serbs that were killed in the area by a group of Bosnian soldiers during the war.

Jovan Popovic was cleared of making unlawful arrests and seizing civilians from the village of Rodica Brdo in the Visegrad area with a group of Serb fighters in 1992. The state court in Sarajevo acquitted Popovic on Wednesday of crimes against humanity, ruling that the prosecution had not managed to prove he was guilty or even if he was a member of the Bosnian Serb Army or any paramilitary group at the time.
