At the beginning of the retrial of four indictees, who are charged with crimes committed at Koricanske stijene, indictee Dusan Jankovic, who has been on the run since the pronouncement of a first instance verdict in December 2010, appears before the Appellate Chamber of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Reading of the indictment by the Prosecution of Bosnia and Herzegovina starts the trial of Muhidin Basic and Mirsad Sijak, charged with the war crime committed in Vares in 1994.
Basic and Sijak are charged with the rape of a Bosnian Croat woman at the Army of Bosnia and Herzegovina prison located in the basement of the “Sumarstvo” building in Vares, on January 25, 1994.

The retrial of the four ex-members of the police station in Prijedor, charged with murdering more then 150 people on Koricanske stijene in Travnik municipality in August 1992 will start on February 24.
At the status conference before the Appellate Chamber of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina it was agreed that the retrial of Zoran Babic, Milorad Skrbic, Dusan Jankovic and Zeljko Stojnic, charged with the crime at Koricanske stijene, begin on Friday, February 24, 2012.

In his testimony for the prosecution a witness told the court that Veselin “Batko” Vlahovic raped his pregnant sister-in-law.

Following an international warrant and his extradition to Bosnia and Herzegovina, the State Court, acting upon the request of the Prosecution of Bosnia and Herzegovina, ordered one-month custody for Branko Vlaco, who is suspected of war crimes in Vogosca in 1992.
As the reasons for the custody, the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina cited the danger of escape, and the impact on witnesses.

Testifying at the trial of Veselin Vlahovic, known as Batko, who is charged with crimes in Grbavica, Vraca and Kovacici, Sarajevo, a State Prosecution witness says that Vlahovic mistreated his family and confiscated money and jewelry worth 100,000 Deutschemarks from them.

At the status conference held before the State Court, a witness, expert of court medicine, said that indictee Vinko Kondic is still not able to attend the trial, due to his health.

In the continuation of the trial of Veselin Vlahovic, two witnesses of the Prosecution of Bosnia and Herzegovina claims that the indictee, also called Batko, participated in taking away their husbands, who are found in the tombs on Petrovacka krivina in Vraca.
