The presentation of evidence at the trial of Adil Vojic and Bekir Mesic concluded with the findings of a state prosecution expert and the property and legal claim of the injured party. Vojic and Mesic have been charged with wartime rape committed in the Bihac area in 1994.

Continuing the presentation of its closing statement, Nihad Bojadzic’s defense said the prosecution’s allegations against the defendant were speculations. Bojadzic, the former deputy commander of the Zulfikar Squad of the Bosnian Army, has been charged with war crimes committed against Croats in Jablanica in June and July 1993.

Former Croatian Defence Council fighter Damir Lipovac was jailed for seven years after admitting he inhumanely treated, robbed and killed Serb civilians in the Derventa area of northern Bosnia in 1992.

A state prosecution witness testified at the trial of four former members of the Bosnian Serb Army charged with crimes committed against with the civilian population in the Sanski Most area. The witness said he saw soldiers in front of victim Tahir Ceric’s house in July 1992. He said he found out later that Ceric was killed.

The defense presented its closing statement at the trial of Nihad Bojadzic, a former Bosnian Army deputy commander charged with crimes committed in Jablanica during the summer of 1993.

Presenting its closing statement, the defense of Nihad Bojadzic said the defendant had no authority over a museum in Jablanica or the prisoners who were detained there during the second half of 1993.

A state prosecution witness testifying at the Mile Puljic trial said he was a minor when he was detained at the Heliodrom detention camp and forced to perform forced labour at various locations. He said he was forced to work until he was wounded on Santiceva Street in Mostar in August 1993.

The trial of eight former members of the Bosnian Serb Army charged with crimes against humanity in the Rogatica area in 1992 has been postponed, due to the poor health of one of the defendants.

A state prosecution witness testifying at the trial of nine former members of Bosnian Serb police and military forces said he was at the front of a convoy that was attacked while traveling from Teocak to territory controlled by the Bosnian Army on July 14, 1992.
