A state prosecution witness testifying at the trial of fourteen former members of Bosnian Serb military and police forces described how her father, brother, nephews and other relatives were killed in the vicinity of Zecovi, near Prijedor.

The state prosecution filed an indictment against Jozo Lovrenovic on suspicion of having committed crimes against prisoners of war in the municipalities of Jajce and Mrkonjic Grad.

The High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council (HJPC) was unable to come to a decision about the base of the Appeals court, after its members failed to find common ground during a special session.

The Mario Frimel trial was postponed to the absence of defense attorney Midhat Koco. Frimel has been charged with war crimes in Sarajevo.

The trial of Dusko Dabetic began with a reading of the indictment and the presentation of introductory statements at the cantonal court of Sarajevo. Dabetic has been charged with war crimes in the Grbavica neighbourhood of Sarajevo.

Six former Bosnian Serb soldiers were arrested for persecuting about 5,000 Bosniaks and Croats in Kotor-Varos, including involvement in torturing and killing at least 300 of them.

Three people including a police commander were arrested on suspicion that they detained and mistreated scores of Serb civilians, some of them children, in Gorazde, Rudo and Visegrad in 1992-93.

A neuropsychiatrist testifying at the trial of Nedzad Hodzic said the defendant is incapable of following or participating in court proceedings. Hodzic has been charged with war crimes on Mount Igman.

As the trial for crimes in the Prijedor area continued, a state prosecution witness said a house, in which she was detained together with more than 30 other women and children, was set on fire.

The state prosecution presented 17 pieces of material evidence at the Zdenko Andabak trial, including the defendant’s criminal record. Andabak has been charged with war crimes in the Livno area.
