There are some who believe, particularly the victims of war crimes, that the expert analysis of indictees, which decides whether an indictee is fit to stand trial for war crimes before the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, is in fact an unnecessary drain on budgetary resources and obstructs the court proceedings.

Testifying at the trial for crimes committed in Cajnice, a State Prosecution witness says that indictees Milun Kornjaca and Milorad Zivkovic were responsible for capturing Bosniaks, adding that Dusko Tadic participated in the murder of her son in Mostina.

At the trial of Miodrag Markovic, who is charged with crimes committed in Doboj, expert witnesses invited by the Defence cannot confirm that witness Z1’s symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder, PTSD, are caused by rape.

At the trial of six former members of the Army of Bosnia and Herzegovina, ABiH, a State Prosecution witness says that indictees Senad Hakalovic and Nihad Bojadzic did not participate in an attack on Trusina village on April 16, 1993. Prosecution witness Enes Gagula, former member of the Neretvica 45th Mountain Brigade with the ABiH, said he did not remember seeing the two indictees during the course of the attack on Trusina village in April 1993.

At the trial for crimes committed in Trusina village, near Konjic, a State Prosecution witness says he heard that members of the Army of Bosnia and Herzegovina, ABiH, killed civilians in the village.
