It is alleged that, on June 11, 1992 he lead the group and supervised the transportation of men from detention facilities in a sports hall and Betonirka factory to Manjaca detention camp. According to the charges, Krunic separated six civilians and then participated in their murder by a local road between Pavici and Hazici on the convoy’s way back from Manjaca.
He has been charged with committing crime against humanity in his capacity as member of reserve police forces. It is alleged that he participated in a widespread and systematic attack by the Bosnian Serb Army, VRS, and members of police and paramilitary formations.
The Prosecution intends to prove its allegations through the examination of 35 witnesses and expert witnesses, as well as introduction of more than 250 pieces of material evidence.
The Prosecution’s announcement indicates that Krunic has dual citizenship of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Serbia.
The indictment has been filed with the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina for confirmation.
