Goran Saric Trial Postponed
The Goran Saric trial has been postponed.
Judge Stanisa Gluhajic said a witness who was expected to testify at today’s hearing had previously been granted protective measures by the Hague Tribunal. He said his examination would be postponed.
Saric, the former commander of a special brigade of Bosnian Serb police forces, has been charged with commanding police forces which participated in the search, disarmament and forcible resettlement of women, children and the elderly in Bratunac and the Srebrenica area, as well as with the detention of men and boys who were later executed in July 1995.
The trial will be continued on September 14.
