Pop Kostic was found guilty of the torture and inhumane treatment of a Bosniak civilian in the Luka detention camp in May 1992.

After having conducted an investigation and filed an indictment in the case, the district prosecution of Brcko referred the case to Serbian judicial bodies.

The parties have the right to appeal the verdict with the Appellate Court in Belgrade.
