Borislav Pisarevic, Juric’s defense attorney, said he didn’t object to the extension of such measures for his client, but asked that the court allow Juric to travel to Brcko, where his office is located.

The prosecution did not object to Pisarevic’s proposal.

The court will render a decision regarding the extension of prohibitive measures against Juric at a later stage.

Juric, a former member of the 102nd Brigade of the Croatian Defence Council, has been charged with the rape and sexual abuse of a Serb woman. The crime allegedly took place in a house in the village of Posavska Mahala in Odzak, on the night of June 4 or 5, 1992.

Juric is also charged with intercepting and mistreating two Serb women as they were going to an elementary school building in Odzak with their children. The school had been turned into a detention centre, and their husbands were being held as prisoners. Juric allegedly acted in cooperation with other soldiers.

The indictment was filed on January 20, 2015, and was confirmed on February 16.
