Plea Hearing in “Mice” Case Next Week

Six indictees, who are charged with crimes in the Teslic area, are due to enter their plea before the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, BiH, on Friday, December 26.

Dragan Marjanovic, Sasa Gavranovic, Vitomir Devic, Zoran Sljuk, Dragomir Kezunovic and Darijo Slavuljica are charged with having killed Bosniak civilians on Mount Borje in June 1992.

The Prosecution of BiH is due to present its closing statement at the trial for crimes against Serb prisoners in Dretelj, near Capljina, on Tuesday, December 23. These crimes are charged upon Ivan Zelenika, Srecko Herceg, Edib Buljubasic, Ivan Medic and Marina Grubisic-Fejzic.

Dragan Maksimovic, who is charged with the murder of civilians in Caparde village, near Kalesija, is due to enter his plea on Monday, December 22. Abduladhim Maktouf, who is retried for crimes in Travnik due to wrong application of the law, is due to appear before the Appellate Chamber of the Court of BiH on that same day.

A pre-trial status conference in the case against Pero Radisic is scheduled for Monday. Radisic is charged with having abused and forced Bosniak civilians to perform hard labor in the Teslic area. On that same day a hearing is due to be held in the case against Mile Puljic, who is charged with crimes in the Mostar area.

On Wednesday, December 24 last Defence witnesses are due to be examined at the trial of Vitomir Rackovic, who is charged with crimes in Visegrad.

On Monday the trials are due to continue in the case against Savo Tepic, Dragoslav Bojic, Dusko Vujicic, Dusko Maksimovic, Radojko Keverovic, Rade Skoric and Ilija Kurusic, who are charged with crimes in Kotor-Varos, as well as Mensur Memic, Nihad Bojadzic, Dzevad Salcin, Nedzad Hodzic and Senad Hakalovic for crimes in Trusina village, near Konjic.

The continuation of the trials of Dragan Sekaric for crimes in Gorazde and Visegrad, as well as Petar Kovacevic for crimes in Visegrad, is scheduled on that same day.

The trials of Goran Vujovic, Miroslav Duka and Zeljko Ilic, who are charged with crimes in Bileca, Oliver Krsmanovic for crimes in Visegrad, as well as Bosiljko and Ostoja Markovic for crimes in Kotor-Varos, are due to continue on Tuesday.

On that same day the trials are due to continue in the case against Muhamed Sisic, Emir Drakovac, Aziz Susa and Tarik Sisic, who are charged with crimes in Rogatica and Foca, as well as Ekrem Ibracevic, Faruk Smajlovic and Sejdalija Covic for crimes against Serb civilians in Srebrenik in 1992.

The trials of Goran Popovic for crimes in Visegrad, Mitar and Rade Vlaseno and Drago Koncar for murders and persecution of the non-Serb population from the Prijedor area, are due to continue on Wednesday.

The Defence of indictee Zoran Bjelica, who is on trial, along with Marinko Bjelica and Novica Tripkovic, for having committed crimes in Kalinovik, is due to examine five witnesses on Wednesday. On that same day the trial is due to continue in the case against Gligor Begovic for crimes in Bijeljina.

The following trials for genocide in Srebrenica are due to continue in the week ahead: the trial of Goran Saric continues on Monday and the trial of Ostoja Stanisic and Marko Milosevic on Wednesday. On Thursday, December 25 the trials are due to continue in the case against Indira Kameric for crimes in Bosanski Brod and Nihad Bojadzic for crimes in Jablanica.

The trials of Safet Mujcinovic, Selman Busnov, Nusret Muhic, Zijad Hamzic, Ramiz Halilovic, Nedzad Hodzic, Osman Gogic and Kahro Vejzovic, who are charged with crimes in Kladanj, as well as Ibro Macic for crimes in Konjic, are due to continue on Friday.

The retrials of Mehura Selimovic, Adil Ruznic and Emir Mustafic, who are indicted for crimes in Krajina, and Savo Babic for crimes in Bratunac are due to continue before the Appellate Chamber next week.
