Defense witnesses testified at the trial of six former members of the Bosnian Serb Army and Mice paramilitary formation. The witnesses said defendant Zoran Sljuka and Ljubisa Petricevic were Mice members with the highest amount of responsibility for attacks conducted on the villages of Stenjak and Rankovici in June 1992. The attacks were part of an operation led by Serb military and police formations aimed at disarming the village residents.

Testifying in his own defense at the trial of six former Bosnian Serb fighters charged with crimes committed in Teslic, Dario Slavuljica said fighters who shot civilians on Mount Borje couldn’t reject the order to do so.

Dario Slavuljica, a former member of the “Mice” paramilitary formation standing trial at the Bosnian state court, told the trial chamber he is negotiating a plea bargain with the state prosecution.

The trial chamber agreed to include statements given by former members of the Bosnian Serb “Mice” paramilitary formation, who’ve been charged with war crimes in the Teslic area. According to the state prosecution, the statements reveal the wartime events that took place in the area in the summer of 1992.

A forensic expert testified at the trial of six former members of the Bosnian Serb military and police forces charged with war crimes in Teslic. The expert said she examined 28 mortal remains in Bebe on Mount Borje and found injuries on them, indicating that they died violent deaths.

Seven state prosecution witnesses testifying at the trial of six former members of the Bosnian Serb Army and paramilitary formations said their families were taken away from the Teslic area in 1992. Their remains were found in various mass graves.
