The suspect, only identified by the initials Milkan Gojkovic is suspected as an accomplice of Veselin Vlahovic a.k.a Batko, who was convicted of crimes in Grbavica, Vraca and Kovacici in Sarajevo.

Vlahovic was sentenced to 42 years by the Bosnian State court and is currently serving his sentence. He was convicted as a member of paramilitary forces of killing 35 persons, raped 11 women, abused, tortured and robbed Bosniak and Croat victims from May to July 1992.

According to the Bosnian prosecution, suspect Gojkovic was arrested in Rogatica, where he lived after the war.

“He will be questioned during the day, and the Prosecution will then decide whether to file a custody motion”, said Boris Grubesic, the spokesperson of the Bosnian prosecution.
