At the trial of Milutin Babic, who is charged with crimes in Bosanski Petrovac, a court expert’s finding is presented. The expert has determined that the indictee is capable of following the court proceeding.

Ophthalmologist Marina Salihodzic conducted an expert examination as per a Court’s order in order to determine whether the indictee’s vision damage could influence his capability of following the trial.

“On the basis of a specialist examination and medical documentation, I have determined that his left eye was operated on and that his vision on that eye was good, that he can read big and mid-size letters, while he needed glasses in order to have perfect vision enabling him to read small letters,” Salihodzic said.

As she said, his other eye needed an operation, but it was not urgent.

“Using glasses, he can read and follow the trial without problems,”Salihodzic said.

Babic is charged with having participated in the abuse and murder of captured members of the Territorial Defence from Sanski Most in Bravsko village, Bosanski Petrovac municipality.

The trial is due to continue on December 4.
