“The witness, who was invited to testify, has not appeared. He informed us that he would not come on his own. He requested us to send him a car,” said Trial Chamber Chairman Halil Lagumdzija.

Lagumdzija said that this was not in line with the State Court’s practices and that the Court would issue an order to apprehend the witness to the next hearing.

According to the charges, Coloman, former member of the Reconnaissance Squad with the Seventh Muslim Brigade of the Army of BiH, ABiH, who was allegedly armed, came in front of a Centre, in which Croat civilians were detained, in Poculice village on April 24, 1993. When the facility guard refused to unlock the door and let the indictee in, he allegedly opened burst fire from an automatic gun through the closed door, killing three and wounding nine Croats.

The trial is due to continue on October 17.
