Vlacic, former member of military police with Bircanska Brigade of the Republika Srpska Army, VRS, is charged with murders and inhumane treatment of detainees in the “Lovac” facility.
 
According to the charges, he took three detained civilians out of prison cells and then beat them until they died.

The indictment further alleges that he then ordered one prisoner to carry their bodies back to the cells and threatened him by saying that he must not tell anyone about it.
 
Vlacic’s trial is due to begin in the upcoming period.
