Verdict of Release against Mladen Markovic Confirmed
The Supreme Court of Republika Srpska confirms a verdict, under which Mladen Markovic was acquitted of charges for war crimes in Visegrad in 1992.

The District Court in Eastern Sarajevo acquitted Markovic, on May 27, 2013, of the charges that he raped two Bosniak women in Babin Potok village, Visegrad, in June 1992.
In October 2013 the Supreme Court confirmed the verdict, rejecting an appeal filed by the District Prosecution in Eastern Sarajevo as unfounded.
