An announcement issued by the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina says that the former policemen with the Public Safety Station in Bileca are banned from leaving their place of residence and meeting witnesses and accomplices.

Also, they are banned from travelling outside of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Their travel documents have been confiscated as well.

At a hearing held on January 16 the Prosecution requested custody for the two suspects.

The State Investigation and Protection Agency, SIPA, arrested Kuljic and Ilic on January 15 due to existence of suspicion that they committed crimes against Bosniaks and Croats in the second half of 1992.

Kuljic and Ilic are suspected of having tortured detained civilians in the police and students’ centre premises in Bileca.
