The trial of Milun Kornjaca, who is charged with crimes in Cajnice, has been postponed again, because the parties received court expert’s findings about the indictee’s health right before the beginning of the hearing.

The Defence said that it had not had the time to prepare for the direct examination of court expert Zorica Lazarevic.

As per a request by the Defence, court expert in neuro-psychiatry Zorica Lazarevic prepared findings and opinion about indictee Milun Kornjaca’s health condition as it was in 1992.

The expert examination was postponed several times before.

The last Defence witness was examined on August 21. The expert examination of indictee Kornjaca has been awaited since. The findings will be the last piece of Defence’s evidence.

Kornjaca, former Commander of “Plavi Orlovi” (“Blue Eagles”) paramilitary unit, is charged with having participated in crimes against Bosniaks in Cajnice in 1992.

The examination of the court expert is scheduled for December 24.
