The Appellate Chamber of the Court rejected appeals filed by Mujcinovic’s Defence attorneys as unfounded.

In October 2012 the former member of “the Hunters Company” with the Army of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Srebrenik was pronounced guilty of having participated in the abuse of Serb civilians, who were unlawfully detained in the Youth Centre in Rapatnica from the end of July to mid August 1992.

In its appeal the Defence called on the Court to either acquit Mujcinovic of the charges or order a new trial, claiming that the investigation in this case was fabricated.

The Prosecution did not appeal the verdict against Mujcinovic and Sulejman Hrustic, who was originally sentenced for the same crime. Hrustic was acquitted of all charges under a second instance verdict.
