Episode 40: Vogosca, Camps Without Memorials
This post is also available in: Bosnian
Approximately 800 people were detained during the war in the camps in Vogosca Municipality. Apart from citizens of Vogosca residents of other municipalities were imprisoned. Many of them did not survive, and among them, there are those still missing.
Most of the facilities once used as detention camps are now restored and put into function. However, it left the survivors without any memorial that would serve as a reminder of their torture and killings.
The guest of this month’s edition is the Supreme Court of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina president Amir Jaganjac.
Should places of detention remain unmarked? In April, TV Justice interviewed people of Vogosca about their opinion on the issue.
