Kuvelja: Status conference

The protected witness for the Prosecution of Bosnia and Herzegovina code-named 117 began his testimony on October 11 this year, but his examination was interrupted by the Trial Chamber, who advised the witness to have a legal counsel by his side.

The status conference was closed to the public.

The witness for the Sate Prosecution 117 is supposed to give his testimony at the trial of Bozidar Kuvelja, charged with participating in the separation of men in Potocari as the member of the Jahorina training centre with the Special Police Brigade of the Republika Srpska.

Kuvelja is also charged with participating in the execution of the group of between 50 and 100 men on July 13 1995 and then a group of around 100 survivors who were invited to come out of the warehouse in Kravica. The defendant is defending himself from custody.

The next hearing is scheduled for November 15, 2011.
