“The Prosecution of Bosnia and Herzegovina has ordered investigative actions aimed at identifying the parcel sender and examining the parcel content, as well as other evidence collection actions aimed at documenting the crime and its perpetrator,” the State Prosecution announced.

It further said that the duty prosecutor performed in collaboration with police agencies, a crime scene investigation related to the receipt of a parcel “whose content suggests that it may contain an explosive device”.

The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina previously said that, while examining a parcel addressed to Court President Meddzida Kreso with a detector in the Counter Diversion Control premises, a bomb was discovered in that parcel.

According to information obtained from the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the parcel was sent from Zepce and brought to the Court building by a courier.

The Public Information Section of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina said that the identity of the parcel sender was known, but, in the interest of the investigation the name could not be disclosed.

The State  Investigation and Protection Agency, SIPA is involved in the investigation in this case, but its representatives were could not share any pieces of information.
